8th Congressional: Whitman board takes up hiring freeze before Jan. 30 school debt exclusion vote
Whitman's Select Board takes up a hiring freeze ahead of a January tax vote on the South Shore Tech building. According to South Shore News, the board voted on a freeze through Jan. 31. Under it, any vacancy would need board action before being filled.
